About the Role

Think Right Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable, data-driven solutions. In this role, you will work with both SQL and NoSQL technologies, collaborating closely with product development teams to identify and implement optimal data repositories aligned with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Pipeline Development

Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and workflows to ensure reliable data flow.

2. Database Management

Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
Design database schemas, indexing strategies, and perform performance tuning.

3. Data Quality and Integrity

Monitor and validate data for accuracy and consistency across systems.
Identify and resolve data quality issues; implement data cleansing techniques.

4. Data Integration

Integrate data from diverse sources including internal systems, APIs, and third-party providers.
Support data migration and synchronization tasks.

5. Collaboration & Communication

Work with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in project discussions and provide regular progress updates.

6. Documentation & Reporting

Document data engineering processes, workflows, and system architecture.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and project status.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in data engineering, database management, or related roles.

Must-Have:
- SQL (Relational Databases – MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) – 2+ Years
- NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) – 1+ Years
- Programming (Python, Java, or Scala) – 1+ Years
- ETL Processes – 2+ Years
- Data Modeling – 2+ Years
- AWS (including Glue) – 2+ Years
- Azure (including Data Factory) – 2+ Years
- API Development – 1+ Years
- Big Data Technologies – 1+ Years
Preferred / Desirable:
- Data Warehousing concepts
- Data Integration tools (Apache NiFi, Talend)
- Exposure to ML concepts and basics
